Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the vacant post of PRINCIPAL of the University Secondary School, Ilorin.
The Unilorin Secondary School is an autonomous community service outreach venture of the University of Ilorin. It is self-financing with a Governing Board.
The Principal is the Chief Executive Officer of the University Secondary School responsible to the School Board for the day-to-day administration and management of the educational affairs of the School.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Prospective candidates must possess SSCE/GCE (O/Level) or its equivalent with at least five (5) credits including English Language and hold a good first degree in Education plus NYSC certificate. In addition, he must be a member of the Teacher's Registration Council.
The applicant must currently not be lower than the rank of Vice-Principal and must have a minimum of sixteen (16) years working experience.
SALARY: USSSS 14
CONDITION OF SERVICE
The successful candidate shall hold office for a term two (2) years initially renewable once upon satisfactory performance, on such terms and conditions that may be determined by the Governing Board.
